FPAs are sold as components, mounted on customer supplied substrates, or as part of higher level sub-systems and systems.

  • All snapshot integration focal plane arrays support dynamic windowing to achieve higher maximum frame rates.
  • Maximum window size and minimum window size frame rates are listed. Maximum frame rates quoted for the maximum number of outputs at 8 MHz per analog output. 10 MHz per analog output option gives a maximum frame rate that is 125% of the listed frame rate, but with ~10% higher noise.
  • Power Dissipation measured at the highest frame rate and varies according to number of outputs and pixel rate.
  • Unit Cell architectures are Direct Injection for all SBF-designed FPAs (optimized for high flux applications), except for the SBF134 LPC FPA.
  • Minimum integration time for all snapshot arrays are less than ~5 microseconds at the highest frame rate.
  • Maximum integration time is typically >99% of the frame time.
